Students undertake a research project under supervision and are enroled in the major thesis subject.
On completion of the subject students should have acquired a detailed knowledge of scholarship in the area of their research and, through preparation of the thesis, should have made a contribution to the advancement of knowledge in Music Psychology & Performance Science.
In addition to the thesis, students attend and contribute to the regular Postgraduate Seminar.
Students enroled in the Master of Music (Music Psychology & Performance Science) may apply to convert to the PhD in Music Psychology & Performance Science after 9 months of candidature. Students must demonstrate that they have satisfactorily completed the requirements equivalent to the first (probationary) year of the PhD.
